Galileo i-Fire System solution can be applied for monitoring and alerting of fire hazard areas. Integrated with Computer Vision algorithms and stand-alone acquisition tools of infrared images, the system is able to communicate data to remote server using wireless technologies.

Using a thermo camera for capturing images and sending them using wireless connection to a remote server, the system ensure constant and real-time monitoring of large areas, obtaining results similar to using tens of thousands of infrared thermometers.
This is possible thanks to an advanced software able to recognize the areas where there is evidence of fire and immediately alert the competent authorities.
Galileo i-Fire System is a perfect solution due to its “nomadic” nature characterized by the hardware components portability and the self-adaptation ability to new conditions of the monitored area.

The system can integrate distributed field sensors can assure automated methods for smoke detecting throughout the area of interest.
The Guardian nodes are associated to sensors able to detect the physical quantities of temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide (CO) and dioxide (CO2).
Oxygen (O2) detectors allow to verify that the alarm threshold, related to the oxygen content in the air, is less than 23%, the limit value for possible fire risk.
