The Guardian platform ensures environmental parameters
monitoring and control inside the buildings
The wireless sensor networks are technological infrastructure formed by intelligent nodes, which are able to detect physical information from the environment where they are placed. Each node has three main features:
has a standalone power;
it’s able to communicate with one or more network nodes;
it’s able to obtain information from one or more electronic sensors.
This means that each node must be equipped with a low battery consumption power system for a maximum of 6V, adopting appropriate routing and integrated control board protocols for the data reading from a specific sensor. In order to realize the WSN monitoring inside structures and buildings even ancient, I.Co has created a solution which is entirely based on ultra-compact wireless devices and therefore with low visual impact. The Guardian – InBuildings nodes integrate temperature and humidity sensors and are able to collect and power seven additional external sensors for the measurement of air currents, brightness, atmospheric pressure or any structural building vibrations.
